Ann & I are delighted that our daughter Bethan and her fiancé, Lukasz, are coming to Samoens & LvF to set up their own catering business, “ La vieille Ferme Family Cuisine”.
Lukasz has extensively experience working in the USA & the UK. He is currently Head Chef at Deans Place Hotel in East Sussex which requires him cater for the Fine Dining of the main restaurant, all Weddings & Functions for up to 150 people & manage his staff.
Bethan is currently Head Receptionist. Her academic background was at Oxford Brookes where she studied Business Management & Catering which has prepared her well to manage clients, staff, advertising, Event management etc.

Building developments at La vielle Ferme [23 Jul 2010]
Ann & I have secured outline planning permission for a 3/4 apartment building behind La vieille Ferme & we are currently in the process of raising some extra funds to purchase the land.
If you are interested in a short term loan at a better than Bank rate of return or the purchase of a fully managed & serviced apartment in the Alps then do get in contact.
This development will be sold at a very appealing price as our rational for developing part of this land is for us to manage what can be built there, retain control of the remaining land & acquire an existing outbuilding which we will renovate to be become part of La vieille Ferme.

Aussie Mountain bikers here again!! [23 Jul 2010]
Ian Fehler is a Brit of lifts opening in the Grand Massif, Samoens is offering mountain bikers a chance to experience the 100 of kilometres of rarely ridden tracks.
When so much is being ridden out so quickly in other areas, those with this passion can find spectacular views, rare challenges and lots of space.
Ian is very happy to hear from mountain bike enthusiasts in the UK and further afield who might want to join his LvF weeks in 2011.
