Dear Ann and Mitch,

Thank you so much for Vicky's week immersed in French language and cuisine. The trip was extremely well organized to make the most of the time and to provide a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Your considerable experience with teenagers enabled you to plan the week carefully giving them a good balance between studying and time off and even a little sightseeing. On top of that, judging by Vicky's feedback, you also put them through a considerable language challenge with trips to French markets, cinema and even friends' houses in the village as well as ensuring that they all had a wonderful time learning how to prepare and plan a meal. Vicky came back very confident in her ability to speak French. Fantastic! I very much hope to send Vicky to you again and shall certainly recommend this course to anyone who is studying French beyond GCSE.

Dear Mitch,

Clare came home so excited about her week. She feels that, not only has her spoken French improved, she has gained confidence as a consequence of the oral work that they all did and particularly the home visits. We were also very happy to hear that you had managed to focus on some of the grammar points with which she was struggling. This will clearly help her written French. The balancing activity, Cookery, was appropriate and important. She will soon be off to Uni in 18months and those skills will come in very handy, along with the Cookery book. Many thanks.

Dear Mitch and Co

Alice thoroughly enjoyed her stay with you. She says her French has improved and we will be putting this to the test when we go to France in August when she can do all the talking (and the cooking)!! I am also very pleased with the content of the course and that you have worked them quite hard whilst maintaining a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Dear Mitch,

Emily spoke very positively of her time with you – she seemed to have a lovely time, and hopefully has improved her French and learnt some new cooking skills. She has offered to make chocolate mousse on Saturday when we have some friends coming! I hope they weren't too much of a handful and I look forward to seeing Emily's 'report' and the cookery booklet.

Hi Mitch

I've been meaning to email you to thank you for what was clearly a very successful week. Alex really enjoyed it and she thinks her spoken French has improved which is great as she was struggling with the aural parts of the exam. Many thanks and best wishes

Penny
